Over 9 years of engineering experience in delivering complex construction packages on both civil infrastructure and building projects within the Sydney metropolitan area.

Tom provides the benefit of experience across several aspects of construction including the tendering process, pre-construction, and delivery in both the public and private sector.

Tom’s current career highlight is playing a key role in the successful completion and handover of the St Marys station box and Southern Tunnels as part of the Sydney Metro WSA Station Boxes and Tunnelling project. Tom led the successful delivery of the final stages of the project, managing sequencing and complex subcontractor interfaces including shotcreting, excavation, FRP works, spoil management and local roadworks. Tom’s delivery across the SBT ensured excellent quality, program and safety outcomes for the project.

With experience in construction right across the world, Kate finished her Masters degree in 2020 and commenced work as a geologist in Slovakia. Throughout university, Kate studied abroad as an exchange student at INHA University in South Korea, NSYSU University in Taiwan and Zhejiang University in China.​

Kate has previous experience on tunnel projects in Iceland, using the Drill & Blast method. In April 2022 Kate moved to Auckland to work on CRL metro project and was part of the team undertaking the excavation of the mined tunnel at Karangahape station. Kate also worked at CRL as a shift engineer on the secondary lining.​

A recent career highlight was working as part of the tunnel excavation team at Arncliffe on the M6 Stage 1 project in Sydney. Kate’s experience gained across the world made her instrumental to the team in dealing with the complex geology.

Shaun is a highly motivated and disciplined individual who has worked in the civil construction industry for the past 8 years. Shaun has extensive experience in major roadworks, bridgeworks, rail and structures with a key focus on planning, management and delivery. Shaun is a proficient leader with a focus on high quality results whilst exceeding program targets.

He is a confident communicator with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a willingness to develop and learn within the industry. Shaun has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to delivering to a high standard, promoting safety and quality with an intimate knowledge of design and construction techniques.

A current career highlight is the successful planning and delivery of the Vierendeel precast units as part of the Cross River Rail project. The portion of works was completed successfully, facing complex design, program and access issues.

With over 9 years of diverse industry experience, Jason is an adaptable and dedicated civil engineer who thrives in a fast-paced and complex project delivery environment.

Jason has a background in civil design, with a focus on stormwater drainage design and Digital Engineering coordination for industrial and commercial developments. Jason has since been working in site-based roles for the past 6 years to deliver civil, structural and tunnelling works for major infrastructure projects in Sydney and Brisbane.

His current career highlight is the successful installation of precast Vierendeel trusses using SPMTs (Self Propelled Modular Transporters) into a station cavern on Cross River Rail. This package of works was executed to program and with a perfect quality and safety record, despite the challenges of tight physical tolerances and an untested installation methodology.
