Henry Brown

Henry is a first-year Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) student at the University of Queensland and was awarded the Economics and Geography Prizes at Anglican Church Grammar School. He is building solid skills in Python, mathematical modelling and Excel-based data analysis, along with a grounding in structural analysis, engineering mechanics and technical report writing. He has a strong interest in large-scale civil and tunnelling work, and an industry placement with Aurecon gave him early exposure to professional engineering workflows and technical documentation.

Henry is reliable, easy to work with and keen to help wherever he’s needed, from take-offs and technical documentation to general office and site support. His work as a private tutor, sports coach and in busy hospitality roles has given him clear communication skills and a calm approach under pressure. Through his volunteering in Samoa and with Sony Camp, he has shown maturity and a strong sense of responsibility. Henry is based in Brisbane, available part-time around his university schedule and open to travelling for project work.
