The M8 Motorway, formerly known as The New M5, is a 9-kilometre twin road tunnel stretching from Kingsgrove to St Peters, making it the longest road tunnel in Australia.
The project involved 18,000 workers who collectively spent 21 million hours on the job.
The M8 includes a four-level interchange at St Peters featuring 10 bridges, two of which span the Alexandra Canal.
JAGCON Group worked with the CPB Contractors, Dragados, Samsung Joint Venture providing construction methods, quality coordination, and digital engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the project.
