Over 5 years engineering experience in delivering a mix of commercial, residential and civil projects. Conor provides value to projects through cross-industry experience having worked with a Consulting Engineering practice where he focused on detailed engineering design as well as working on site with subcontractors. This varied experience assists him to understand the design and identify design issues before they materialise on site.
Conor’s current career highlight is the successful delivery of the ESB Headquarters in Dublin while working with PJ Hegarty & Sons. The project was the winner of the 2022 Irish Construction Industry Awards Commercial Project of the Year (Large). The project demonstrated several novel and impressive concrete and masonry elements such as Vierendeel trusses to support a two storey 18m wide structural block with a 15m clear span, slipform RC cores, exposed concrete elements as well as a red-brick barrel vault.
